But this doesn't always work so well in the long term – the drugs don't fix the issue, they've just covered it for a while, like a band aid. Unfortunately, drug use can create problems of its own – like fighting with family, health and money troubles like owing people money or getting a deal on tick (pay them back on pay day etc.). These can increase bad thoughts and behaviours and so people use more drugs. Before they realise, they can be stuck in a cycle.
People use drugs for a reason. No one ever chooses to have a drug problem. No matter how or why drugs have become a problem for a person, there is help and support services that understand, are welcoming and want to help and support you.
